Day 9 was Plyometrics again. I was not looking forward to it at all. I hate all the jumping around and last week I really sucked at it, I threw up and didn't even finish. What a difference a week makes! I did not throw up and I finished the whole DVD!!! Of course I did not do everything like Tony I did the Pam modifications on some but I tried to do everything the best that I could. I still didn't break into a sweat....uggg
I totally blew my diet! I ate out at Wendys and had a chicken sandwich with bacon and cheese on it. I drank my powerade that I already had and didn't finish even half the fries. When I came home, I literally tried to make myself throw it back up because I was so pissed at my weakness. Yeah well that didn't work. I don't know how people do it, just made my abs ache. So I failed my diet miserably more by adding on half an Almond Joy bar...yeah someone hit me already. But Day 10 is a new day because I got my nutrisystem order last night and plan on starting it Day 10.

So Day 7 was day of rest and I used it to clean my entire house and do all the laundry in the house and all the bedding. So I still worked not just with Tony!

Today though I felt like I kept up and did so much better than the first time through this DVD. I am doing push ups off my knees again and I can't believe it! Super stoked!!!! I did the military push ups on my knees because he says its about form, and my form doesn't work on these yet unless I am on my knees... that's okay because I am doing better. Abs?? Not sure, I think I didn't do as well today but we do it like 3 times a week and can't help it if I am sore but the last two times I did really good I thought. I am almost keeping up with the mason twists which is huge for me..
MINI CELEBRATION time, I have lost 3 pounds and I am already noticing a difference in my clothes and how they fit. I put on a pair of jeans that I bought in December that were tight but fit but gave me some muffin top issues and I put the on today and they slid on no problem and no muffin top hanging over anymore on these babies! Yeah, little inspiration to get up and do it again tomorrow!
I like the energy boost I have too. I am eating better, I am working out and I know it! lol My body is not giving up on me anymore. I used to complain about having to park to far from anything and having to walk any distance to get somewhere and now I am like, whatever we can park in the back row and walk it! I am already playing with my kids more and spending time in the yard with them. I know its only been a week but its been 6 years since I worked out like this and ate right...and my body is happy. I am happy too. Sore and tired because I am not a morning person but I am working through it and getting it done!

P90X Day 5 and Day 6
I can't remember my calorie totals cuz I waited too long to blog them but that is okay because I know I stayed under my 1300 calories.
Day five was: Legs & Back
While I was stretching on this one omg, my left bicep (maybe) felt like it was going to tear in half! When we do this one he says scrape the wall with your elbows and I thought my arm was broken....
When I was prego with my first I got the pregnancy leg cramps in my calves and if you don't know what that's like you don't know pain! Well I got them in both legs and I called my mom who was downstairs and told her I some how broke my legs while I was sleeping. I was screaming and crying so hard. She dropped her phone and raced up and then realized what it was....yeah ever since then 6 years ago I still get them occasionally and it still feels like someone is snapping my legs in half at the calves.
So...it felt like that was happening in my arm too...but I was able to work thru it.
The calf raises...wow by the end of that I could barely stand. But after I finished the whole workout I didn't feel it as much as the others. I don't think I am bringing it enough...I need to push harder!

Then I might have blown my dieting a little...we went to Darlington Speedway and there was nothing there to eat but bad food. But I think I made it by cutting way way back during the day.
The Nascar race was awesome!
We got home at 3 am and had to get up for Church and be there by 1030. We made it!
Then we went out to eat after, I didn't want to because I knew I would blow my diet! And I ate yummy italian food!!! But I only ate half of everything that I normally would have even though I wanted to devour it all....so good. Plus it was the only thing I ate all of Sunday.
Sunday my workout Day 6 was supposed to be Kenpo X....well I took a nap at 5 pm until 7....a gift from my hubby cuz naps in this house for me are impossible. Unfortunately I was wide awake and for a while kept putting my workout off cuz I do them in the morning but because of the race I didn't. Well I worked out at like 1 am....lol but I did it and it felt good.

Got my heart pumping thats for sure but I looked like an idiot trying to do these moves! Oh my goodness, I could never ever let anyone see me doing these. I know I didn't do the moves right but I did the best I could and kept moving the whole time. My problem is I never feel like I am working hard enough because I don't sweat, I get a little perspiration but nothing like I see everyone else especially those on the videos.
I don't know I just never have even when I was in the Army I just don't sweat like others. Its kind of frustrating. But I enjoyed the workout it seemed to go by so quick it was fun.
So over the weekend I did my workouts! Diet...sketchy.
And as a present for mother's day my hubby bought me the nutrisystem for 28 days!!!!!!!!
Holy Crap I am so excited!!!!! 3 meals a day and a dessert all just for me! We are only going to do it for the one month though because they had a 50% off special. We got it for 166 when it is normally 392.
Shawn said he is trying to help me because it is all I talk about, getting fit. He said either buy the food or spend the 166 on other things I wanted. But I went for the food because I am tired of my 2 shakes and a salad a day routine already!
Says it will take about 10 days to get here but thats okay once it does that will be awesome.
Today is Day 7 for me, my rest or stretch day.
I think I will do the stretch a little later or use today for cardio walk because it is supposed to be beautiful out today and I am sore but I feel really good even though I went to bed at 3 and got up at 830.
I am feeling good. Oh and my favorite cousin is doing Insanity now, she started this morning. I am so proud of her. When she told me she was starting today, I told her I was doing P90X, I haven't told anyone else except my hubby. I want others to see the results when I am done.

Day 4 I am not not not happy about
So I got to sleep in til 615 this morning because my hubby didn't get up until then. I was a little worried because of the time and the kids might getting up while I was still working out. No need to worry...grrr
So my husband left and I pop in the Yoga disc, I am already thinking its going to be relaxing day because its a 90 minute yoga dvd. WRONG!!!! Its 30 seconds and skip, skip, skip stops playing!!! OH heck no!!! I take it out and flip it over...no scratches at all. I try it again and nothing but skipping. So I freak out and go through all the rest of the discs to see if any of the rest are messed up. There are 12 discs. I get all the way til number 11...Cardio and once again skip skip skip stop and no scratches. Now I should have known it was too good to be true.
I bought my P90X off of ebay for 94.99 and when I got it was still in shrink wrap! I was like wow it is new...huh. But when I went to go to let them know I got it the transaction had somehow been deleted from my account. I have no idea how they did that but there is no evidence of it there anymore except that they got thier money of course... but I can't complain really. So I did alot of web surfing this morning and whining.
I have purchased anther P90X Cardio DVD from a different ebay member. I don't need that DVD for a couple of weeks still so I am not worried. I am sure its a burned copy but as long as it plays at this point I don't care if its in Arabic as long as I can see Tony do it!.
One lady said that the Yoga wasn't really that good but others said it was awesome, so I don't know. The one who said it wasn't that good said to just do the stretching instead....we will see.

P90X Day 3
Finishing up day 2 totals..
but first a note about day 1 totals my slim fast drinks actually totalled to 310 each because I didn't realize its 200 calories if you drink skim milk. I drink 1% so that's an extra 220 calories on my total.

Now today. I finally took my Before photos this morning, I know I was supposed to take them already but I honestly didn't think I would stick with the program at first so I didn't want to take them and waste my time. But I am enjoying the burn again! Last night I told my husband I am doing the program, I hadn't told him either for the same reason. He smiled and said so in 90 days and I said no in 88 days there should be some changes in this body and he said well your already hot and sexy. I love the man but if he didn't say it I would have been upset but I know I am not, I am not huge but I am not the woman who first turned his head either.
Today's workout was Shoulders, Arms and the Ab Ripper X..again!

The Ab Ripper X...me and that 15 minutes are going to argue the entire 90 days I tell you what! There are 2 or 3 moves that I don't know if I will ever be able to do and not because of my physical fitness but because it hurts my back so dang much. I have a prior back injury from Iraq and I have constant lower back pain that I receive disability for. Its just the ones where I have to roll straight up from lying on my back with no assistance I can feel every part of my back scream and crack and want to break! So what I have been doing for now is substituting those for the one that has been the hardest for me to do and that is the froggy crunch which I am getting better at now. Today I did do better on the whole workout but still no where near as good as I want to be. I must admit I am proud of myself for not crawling back into bed after my husband left. I can and will do this!
Tonight I plan on getting all my body measurements, I tried doing it myself but I think I did it wrong, so I am going to ask my hubby to help me tonight...yikes, I don't want him to know these numbers but hopefully in 87 days they will be much better. So August 1st is deadline day for my program and I am hoping I will be able to post my before and after pics then! I don't know how much help it will be on my mommy belly because I have had 3 repeat c-sections..but I am sure hoping it will help. I will be 30 in three years and I want to go into my 30s looking like I still have the body of a young 20 year old.
My whole body is hurting but it hurts so good! Yeah, off to maybe mow the yard if I can make it work....it hates me lol so I can stay active, let the kids play outside and surprise my hubby! Wish me luck oh and don't forget its the National Day of Prayer, give thanks to God today everyone, you should everyday but today as a nation we should all take two minutes out of our busy day to tell Him we love Him.

P90X Day 2
Well as for the rest of Day 1 I ate 2 slim fast shakes that were each 200 calories
one salad with chicken that was about 300 calories
one special k bar that was 90 calories
and a blueberry yougurt that was 80 calories
grand total of 870 calories for the day.
I thought at the end of the night that I wasn't really sore at was kind of disappointed....ha! I was wrong!
I went to bed and at 330 this morning I was awoken by a scream, my son who is potty training was screaming. He woke up his little sister even from his screaming. I went down to see why he was screaming and he was screaming and it was because he had to go potty and he wouldn't go in his pullup. Of course that is awesome but for some one who is trying to sleep and get up at 5 am its not so fun. He went potty but once his sister is awake she is awake. I eventually got him back to sleep but crawling in his toddler bed with him and falling asleep with him while his sister fell played in the room.
So we all fell asleep in the toddler beds (ouch) and slept til 1030!!!!
I got off to a late start!
So I finally got to day 2 and holy moly as soon as I started warming up I started feeling sore from the day before! Plyometrics kicked my butt, i almost puked twice. I quit before the last 5 minutes because I was so dizzy from not eating for so long that I was sure if I didn't sit down I was going to pass out.
But I did push myself and I am sore but it feels good to know I am doing something good for myself.
I have 88 more days to go! lol

P90X day 1
So I did it! I did day one of P90X
I am going to have to come back and add more to this once I get all my measurements and all but I plan to log each day so I can keep track and motivate myself and stay on track too lol.
I got up at 5 am as usual. I get up and make my husband's lunch for him and then I go back to bed usually til sometime between 730-900 depending on my kids. But today I stayed up and went downstairs and tried to turn on my xbox 360 to do the dvd. For some reason there was no sound. I don't know why. I was discouraged at first but I refused to let it get me down so I said I will not quit! Although my bed said come back to me....lol
I switched the dvd to the laptop, it started and then the laptop started acting crazy, mind you its been acting crazy for weeks now. I quickly ejected it out of the old laptop and put it in my new laptop my Grandma just bought me two weeks ago. Why I didn't do this first? It was upstairs next to my bed and I didn't want to go back up there....but I ran up the stairs grabbed it and ran back down as to not be tempted by the fluffy comforter!

The first time we went threw it I didn't give 100 % cuz I didn't want to burn myself out because I had no idea what I was getting myself into. The second time you go threw it he says give it everything. All the push ups except the decline I had to do on my knees. I used to be in the Army and used to max my push ups...ohh how the mighty have fallen crashed and burned!!! I used 3 lb weights for everything...why? Cuz that is all I have! I definitely need heavier weights though! or just a set of resistance bands... I got a chin up bar too. Got it this weekend, my husband has no idea why I had him install it. Thinks I just want to do pull ups. lol It cost 19.77 at Wal mart and took him less than 10 minutes to install it for me. I got the kind that has the swing bar on it so i don't do an actual pull up I do the modified one but I am hoping that eventually one day I will!
After the Chest and Back dvd I attempted the next dvd your supposed to do on day 1. Ha!!! the Ab ripper X! Yeah I didn't finish a single exercise of the 15 minute dvd. Holy crap. I attempted them all but I could do the whole 25 reps of any of them. I tried but I am even more out of shape than I thought. Your supposed to do that workout 3 times a week i think...i think i need it every day! lol I am ashamed of myself!
As for my diet? I bought Jillian Michaels kit for 19.99 at Wal Mart (I know) that has some detox stuff I take and then fat burning stuff later and every morning I am taking vitamin B12 for hopefully energy boost. I had a whole bottle of water during my workout and then I had a slimfast drink for breakfast -200 calories. So I will continue to record as the day goes on. But at least i did it! Go me lol

I quickly ejected it out of the old laptop and put it in my new laptop my Grandma just bought me two weeks ago. Why I didn't do this first? It was upstairs next to my bed and I didn't want to go back up there....but I ran up the stairs grabbed it and ran back down as to not be tempted by the fluffy comforter!
I popped the dvd in and tada there was the first workout here are my results from the
Chest and Back:
Push Ups: 25/22
Pull Ups:15/10
Military Push Ups:15/16
Reverse Pull Ups:15/15
Wide Fly Push Ups:15/17
Close Hand Pull Ups:17/10
Decline Push Ups:5/1 *Only push ups I didn't do on my knees
Heavy Pants: 25 reps/25 reps
Diamond Push Ups: 5/5
Lawnmower: 15 reps/15 reps *doubled weight on second set
Nose-Chest-Hips:0/0 very unsuccessful
Back Flys:15 reps/25 reps
The first time we went threw it I didn't give 100 % cuz I didn't want to burn myself out because I had no idea what I was getting myself into. The second time you go threw it he says give it everything. All the push ups except the decline I had to do on my knees. I used to be in the Army and used to max my push ups...ohh how the mighty have fallen crashed and burned!!! I used 3 lb weights for everything...why? Cuz that is all I have! I definitely need heavier weights though! or just a set of resistance bands... I got a chin up bar too. Got it this weekend, my husband has no idea why I had him install it. Thinks I just want to do pull ups. lol It cost 19.77 at Wal mart and took him less than 10 minutes to install it for me. I got the kind that has the swing bar on it so i don't do an actual pull up I do the modified one but I am hoping that eventually one day I will!
After the Chest and Back dvd I attempted the next dvd your supposed to do on day 1. Ha!!! the Ab ripper X! Yeah I didn't finish a single exercise of the 15 minute dvd. Holy crap. I attempted them all but I could do the whole 25 reps of any of them. I tried but I am even more out of shape than I thought. Your supposed to do that workout 3 times a week i think...i think i need it every day! lol I am ashamed of myself!
As for my diet? I bought Jillian Michaels kit for 19.99 at Wal Mart (I know) that has some detox stuff I take and then fat burning stuff later and every morning I am taking vitamin B12 for hopefully energy boost. I had a whole bottle of water during my workout and then I had a slimfast drink for breakfast -200 calories. So I will continue to record as the day goes on. But at least i did it! Go me lol

OSAMA BIN LADEN
So Obama got Osama. As a Christian I don't believe in the death penalty but if they did try to catch him and he fought back as I am sure he would try and they had to kill him well then I guess there was no other choice. Personally I would have preferred he be made to sit in prison for the rest of his life so all the families of his victim's could come and spit on him whenever they wanted to but well I guess he got off easy. I really do like our President. People forget that when he became president all these problems were already there and he is not trying to clean it all up and that can't happen over night. I like how he thanked the troops and the intelligence people and didn't take the credit for himself and even thanked God. It was so nice.
I saw the speech because as I had wrote I wanted to start P90X this morning so I went to bed at 9 last night. My youngest woke up screaming around 1030 and wouldn't go back to sleep. I tried bringing her into bed with my husband and I but she still wouldn't stop. So I took her down to the couch so he could sleep. She still wouldn't stop so I turned on the tv and saw the news. 10 minutes in and she was asleep and I was wide awake. I finally fell asleep around 130 this morning. I overslept and missed my daughters doctor appointment this morning even. Needless to say I didn't do p90x today. I am still struggling to stay awake...maybe tomorrow?

Oh on a side note....
Tomorrow morning I plan on trying to start P90X I bought it a couple of weeks ago but due to the potty training, mother nature aka my monthly, and my husband having a four day and my family being here I haven't started it yet. I am a lazy person and a procrastinator so we will see if I do it but I am hoping that by saying I am going to do it on here I will do it, I also plan on watching what I eat, not follow the P90X food guideline because well I can't afford to and my family has to eat too but still watch what I eat.
I currently am (honestly) 5'1 and weigh between 125-129 depending on the day. I want to get down to 110 but I will take 115 and be happy. I need to lose it all in the area above my knees and below my boobs! I have had 3 c-sections and feel like nothing is going to help me short of surgery or a miracle but I guess we will see. I am hoping to loose some inches I wear a size 9/10 pants and would love to get down to a 5 but I don't think these hips can get in them again but I would like to loose that pouch when I zip up my jeans. You ladies know what I am talking about. And I would love to sit down and not worry about trying to suck it in or try to cover up my stomach with my shirt or tuck in my belly lol.
I hope to gain energy back from the exercising and with that it will make me want to be more active with my kids and it will make me feel better about myself. That is the ultimate goal. So I guess it all depends on if I can do it tomorrow or not. Wish me luck lol!

Potty Training My Son is Fun...Funny
My son will be 3 in September. He just recently started talking a few months ago. And so I tried to potty train him at age 2 and it didn't work because he didn't talk enough to tell me that he had gone potty so I waited to try again until last week now that he is talking alot more. He is doing great now. We are on day 5 and things are going great. I am doing all the potty training so of course he sits down to pee and poop. Today we had a slight problem though. We were at Walmart and he had already used the family restroom there once without a problem. Our Walmart has the little potty in the family restroom which is perfect because my son is tiny and is scared of the big potty, I think because of his size he is afraid of falling in. So the little potty there is the only one he will use. So we went back to use the family restroom because he told me he had to go again. When we got there it was locked so we knocked. I heard the toilet flush and a lady start laughing. So we moved back and we stood there for at least 4 or 5 minutes, then I felt my son pee. He had on underwear with rubber pants over them. He held it as long as he could and then at that exact moment the door opened. When the door opened I was irrate, not at my son but at what I saw. A woman and her teen age daughter came out of the restroom. There is no reason that I can think of that they needed to use the "little" potty. My son cried the rest of the time in the store and pulled at his pants because he was wet and upset that he had an accident. I just couldn't get over the two women in the restroom. We left the store as soon as possible.
That is not the funny part the funny part was yesterday. Yesterday we went out to the lake and we took the potty chair with us. My son used the potty chair like a big out at the lake like a champ it was great then on the way home he says Mommy me pee now! So we pull over at this abandoned gas station and my husband decides its the perfect time for him to learn how to pee standing up. Well my son is standing there with his pants down and has no idea what is going on so my husband decides he needs to show him how its done:

Right after this picture a rabbit came running out of the woods and my son stops trying to pee and is screaming about the rabbit and a guy on a motorcycle pulls up and stops and stares at my husband who is peeing and my husband doesn't see the guy and I am in the jeep laughing so hard I almost pee myself! My son did not pee standing up, my husband did, the biker got a free show and I got a great laugh! Oh and so did my youngest daughter who had a great time out at the lake that day too.
Bald Kitty??
So I decided to try and brush my poor kitty who is fat and hairy and didn't pay attention to what I was doing. She was loving the brushing and the hair was coming off like crazy and I was amazed and kept thinking wow. She is going to feel so great after all this loose hair is off of her. When I got up to throw away a clump of hair that I could no longer hold in my hand my husband says umm is that a bald spot? I started laughing and crying at the same time. Poor Maxi! I over brushed her on her butt and didn't even notice because all the hair kept building up on her butt and I kept brushing it. I guess next time I want use a dog deshedding brush either lol. But in my defense she really did enjoy it!
